As part of the Malaysia Airports group's commercial reset strategy aimed at elevating its commercial offerings, Malaysia Airports collaborated with local luxury designer, Hatta Dolmat. The collaboration also meant to help local businesses remain agile and relevant within a fast-changing consumer landscape.

The debut of HD Rising is also a unique feature of the collection. For the first time ever in Malaysia, models paraded on an airport runway instead of a fashion runway.

Identified Issues:


  • The fashion show took place amid the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic, a period marked by ongoing lockdown measures and a meticulous scrutiny of prevailing circumstances. The agency was tasked with ensuring the news gets out in the media.

  • To communicate the campaign messages to the intended audience more actively and with deeper engagement.

  • To position our airports as a lifestyle destination through the vast retail offerings available.

  • To entice passengers and encourage reward-spend at the airport, the division spearheads key marketing campaigns and promotional activities at the airports.

  • Earned enthusiastic media coverage and successfully positioned Malaysia Airports as a shopping destination, both online and offline.

  • The collection not only garnered positive feedback from customers but also established Malaysia Airports as a brand dedicated to supporting and elevating local designers.
